Anyone here done this and can tell me how long it took the Post Office to settle it.
I handed the form in at the Post Office nearly 3 weeks ago and haven't heard back from them yet.
Thanks

Do you know if there was more than £10,000 in the account. We filled in a closure form for my FIL and it took them over a month to write to say that they would not pay out without us going to probate as more than £10,000 in account. We have been told that we need to fill in the forms again and show death certificate again once we have the probate certificate. Perhaps this is why it is taking your claim so long as well.0
