Can I claim for Mortgage Protection?

Hi
I took out Mortgage Protection on the basis that it covered myself & my Brother if we had taken ill & was unable to work. However, I have just discovered thst it only covers critical illness cover. Am I able to claim this was mis-sold?

So you took out Critical Illness Cover, but thought it was something else?

What evidence do you have that supports your view that it was income protection?
What evidence do you have that shows it is critical illness cover?
