in Credit cards
When I top up my HL account it comes up on my debit card statement as a "card payment".
Does that mean that if I used a credit card to top up, it would be seen as a payment, not a money to transfer, and therefore not incur fees?

Credit cards will define what transactions are more so than a debit card0

You may be able to do it with a Curve Card linked to your credit card so it counts as a debit card purchase.
Be sure you are doing it in a sensible way though i.e. disciplined stoozing.0 -
Hargreaves Lansdown is my preferred financial service. They specify debit card or cheque to add funds. Personally, I stooze via a money transfer to my bank account and then use my debit card. However personally I think it's surprising that they apparently don't allow bank transfer for adding funds when the method of withdrawing funds is by transfer to my nominated bank account. But there you go.0

Thanks.
Yep I'm a careful Stoozer!
Got a 0% CC with a high limit so thought it would be good to put a portion of that elsehwere because it's going to take a year or so to reach the limit on it!0 -
Would be delighted too. 1 minute.0
