Combi boiler constant noise

Hi,

I'll be grateful for any help re this...

I've a Woucester greenstar 28i combi boiler which sounds like it's on when it isn't.
I have hot water and there are no error codes showing.

I've re-set it, turned it off, turned the power off and re-pressurised but to no avail.

The noise continues even when the boiler and power is off !

OK, I'll start the questions.

When you say "power is off", do you mean the boiler is turned off or do you mean power is completely disconnected to the boiler?

What sort of noise? Could it be noise in the pipework in your house/flat or an adjoining one - e.g. water flow noise being transmitted through the pipework to your boiler?

Is the boiler fan running - can you get close to the outlet to see/feel if it is?

If you hold your hand against the boiler, perhaps with a cover opened, do you feel any vibration?

How long have you had the boiler?

When did the noise start?
