Vaillant Ecotec plus 31kw

My sister is moving into a new house.

It has 5 bedrooms over 3 floors (ground, 1st and loft).

4 bathrooms (ground, first x 2 and loft) and 1 kitchen (ground).

Only 3 people in the house currently.

Would the Vaillant Ecotec plus 31kw (on ground floor) be sufficient to supply the house?

Heat wise it should be ok, how many radiators are there, I'm guess no more then 15/16.

Hot water wise it will struggle if you use more then 1 tap at a time. Combi boilers are designed for 1 tap operation.

The correct system design for that house would be a system boiler and unvented cyclinder.

A combi boiler might do if all the bathrooms have electric showers, but if not, system boiler and unvented cylinder is best.

Getting a cylinder that could be extended in future to have solar heating (either via a second coil or a solar powerd immersion heater) is worth considering if the orientation of the house is suited to collecting solar energy.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
