printer settings user interface has stopped working??

Hi,
I have an epsom sx215 printer.....it still prints but when i try to change the ink cartridges it states :-
'printer settings user interface has stopped working'....
Any ideas of how to fix this?

Assuming you have done the obvious reboot everything, ran printer diagnostics & uninstall/reinstall printer"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

tried all that but there was no success.... is there any way of changing the ink by just using the printer? ie not to use the laptop 'printer maintenance' route?0 -
