PPI Sold to me before 2205

Sorry I went onto Resolver and it chose the company I had used (Debenhams/Burtons I think was NewDay?) I got rejected and then it automatically went to the FOS who told me as it was pre-2005 it was a no-go.

Forget Resolver then, choose your own company to complain to.

Hint; send a NEW complaint to Santander. FOS should have suggested this as part of their response that they could offer no help.

As moneyineptitude says- complain to Santander.
As I previously stated, “all aspects of mis-selling complaints relating to Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) taken out with GE Money, up to and including 14 January 2005, will now be assessed by Santander on behalf of Financial Insurance Company Limited and Financial Assurance Company Limited. Santander should therefore be the first point of contact for all customer mis-selling complaints.”

As I previously stated, FICL has taken responsibility and if your complaint is not upheld, you will be able to refer it to the FOS.
