Sell motorhome privately or via broker?

We have a motorhome valued at around £10k which we are having to sell due to failing health.

The idea of selling online and getting scammed is terrifying us, so have thought about brokerage. We know we won't get the full price but that's how it is. We'd also want them to sell from their premises.

Has anyone any experience of selling via a broker? Was it a good or bad experience? Any tips regarding insurance, log book etc?

You're the seller, how are you going to get "scammed"?

Just list it honestly on the usual places, Gumtree, FB Marketplace and specialist motorhome/caravan forum sites. You're more likely to be scammed by a dodgy broker than selling it yourself.

Sell privately, get the buyer to do a bank transfer to your account or walk down to the bank with them and pay the cash in there and then.
