Kitchen company not accepting card payment

A "halfway" update.
Work on the kitchen itself, thankfully, is well under way and we are very happy with it so far.
The local tradesmen who have been sub contracted by the kitchen company have been absolute stars - diligent, skilled, efficient and reliable. The quality of work and goods is superb.
However.....
None of this is any thanks to the kitchen company we have the actual contract with. They have been beyond appalling, have provided us with zero customer service and are completely carried by this team of talented tradesmen who, being local, all know one another, liaise well and work together; without them I doubt this shower would even last a week in business.
There hasn't even been a coherent plan, so I ended up drawing my own after requesting one time and time again. The kitchen company have made fundamental errors that they take no ownership of and have totally failed to project manage at all, as promised. It has all been left to us and we may as well have just employed the guys directly - had we known about them!
I have kept a detailed diary of events and it reads as a catalogue of disaster as far as the company is concerned.
Would we have any kind of legal redress, as we are after all, getting the kitchen we want from the team of tradesmen, but nothing from the company we actually employed and are paying a lot of money to.0 -
Is it worth it?
You're doing it, you're getting what you've wanted from capable people and it will soon be finished.
Extending the bad feeling towards the kitchen company is extending how long you feel bad for, when you could just choose to feel good about the kitchen once it's in and start enjoying it.
When you're done, leave reviews on any review websites - facebook, google, yell...Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
