Blackmail Email which contained a password

i got one with a password i used on an old site which has obviously been hacked at some point. As I don't use the same password everywhere I was easily able to see what site had been hacked. I informed them but no reply - obvioulsy don't want to admit they were hacked.
It is VERY EASY to send an email to and from the same address, I could do it if I wanted using nothing more than outlook. So please ignore the fact it is from your address - it is highly unlikely you have been hacked and it certainly is NOT proof.
If you have not been on !!!!!! sites then you have nothing to worry about, if you have then shame on you :-)0
