How to reactivate a papypal account

My friend has / had a paypal account many years ago and can no longer access it. Also, if she tries to open a new one she gets a message saying that there is already an account matching her bank account / bank card. I believe she has gone down the reset password route without success.

Do any of you know whether one can have more than one paypal account to a bank account or how to reactivate her old one?

The above information is what I have been told, so if any more is needed to answer, it may take a little time to get back to you.

Click forgot password on the login page. It will email the password to them.

Login using that email address if they dont know the username.

It may be worth her giving them a ring. It sounds as if the reset password is going to an old email perhaps.

You can't have more than one of the same sort of paypal accounts, if your friend tries opening a new one then she risks losing them all for good. A card cannot be linked to more than one anyway.
