Also worth mentioning there's so few places where you can buy unicorns these days.0 -
Well it would give us one less lot of info (not score obviously as totally meaningless) to check to ensure that they haven't messed up (yet again!).
What competition? We as individuals have no choice, we are stuck with the whole shower.0 -
How are they going to resolve this in a way that satisfies all parties?
Scenario: Experian change Clearscore to use Experian data.
Outcome: Watchdog not happy.
Scenario: Experian continue to use Equifax.
Outcome: Equifax not happy about their data going to a competitor? Likely to turn the tap off, once current deal expires? Experian having to pay for other CRAs data.
Scenario: Experian budge a wedge Watchdog's way.
Outcome: What problem?0 -
when your file is screwed up and Experian says no we don't careDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I'm inclined to think that the consideration here, in terms of competition, relates to the people who actually pay for the CRAs services. Banks, lenders, mobile phone operators, those sort of people.
Us dweebs can access our credit records for free.0 -
