I got from my partner
200GBP in Tesco gift cards
Planing to buy some laptop but Tesco shut down Tesco Direct so last week I tried to buy Currys gift card for 100 GBP and pay us My Tesco gift card
But I was
Not allowed to do it they say what I can only buy Gift card Using cash or bank card,
I noted them what it nothing on gift card preventing to do it, generally gift card can be use as cash to buy any product but they say what gift card it’s not they product
(Innocent juice is also not their either but I can buy it using gift card)
My question do they have right to decline transaction?
I have genuine Tesco gift cards bought using credit card with receipts and they still can say no?

Yes they can decline it, it is very rare that you would be allowed to by a gift card with another gift card. Tesco's announced their planned closure of their direct site several weeks ago and have been having closing down sales in the countdown to it actually closing.
Can you not just use those vouchers towards a few weeks worth of grocery shopping in Tesco and then put the money you would be spending on groceries into savings until you have your £200 saved (or more to make up to the full price of the laptop)0 -
Yes I can use for peril it!!!8217;s not problem
just wonder why they can declaimed which terms of Tesco gift card forbidden it....its Notting on Tesco gift Card abaut it0 -
The terms say you cannot use them in Tesco cards (and tyres and carpets) which sells gift cards.0

Generally gift cards are exempt with retailers.
Argos for example9.13 Gift Cards or eGift Cards cannot be used for the purchase of other gift cards or vouchers.
AsdaThe Asda Gift Card can be used in any Asda store within the UK and the balance on the card may be used for in-store purchases in full or part-payment (excluding third party concessions or products, gift cards, tobacco, stamps, petrol and lottery tickets) at any time whilst this card is valid. At this time you cannot use our gift cards when shopping online.0
