Negative Feedback :(

I sold a widget last week. Posted it Monday, and heard nothing more then today a negative feedback saying "was sent wrong item, also can get this cheaper elsewhere"
I contacted the buyer and asked for a photo of what he received so that I could investigate. He replied with a photo of the BACK of the widget and comparing it with the photo of the FRONT from my listing. The listing shows pictures of the front, back and the open widget.
He also advised that he doesn't want a refund as its not his error :huh: and that I should pay more attention so as to not make mistakes.
I've replied pointing out that he's photographed the back and if he looks at the listing again he'll see the picture of the back which matches the photo he took to which I've had no reply.
I've filled in the feedback removal form citing the fact that the photo he's got shows it's the correct widget and that he made no contact before leaving negative feedback - am hoping that eBay remove it!
He's also joined the motley crew on my BBL.

If the OP has filed to have the feedback removed, this will be easier if there is no reply attached. There is plenty of time to reply, should the removal fail.0 -
Don't forget that if eBay remove the comment the red dot still remains, and I think that is worse as no one can see how much of an idiot the buyer is.
