Imagine Curve Card - How did you select your Curve Rewards Retailers

You can select 3 retailers to get 1%* cashback each time you shop with them and pay with Curve. I've gone through the list of retailers in the app. there's quite a few. e.g. BP, TFL, Topshop, John Lewis, House of Fraser, H&m, Boots, Starbucks, Pizza Express, Nando's, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl, Aldi etc.
If you apply for Curve black you can select up to 6 retailers and you get more choice. e.g. Marks and Spencer and Ocado are exclusive to Curve Black. (I think Curve black is also called Curve Premium). Plus you get 3-5% cashback, not 1%*.
I was wondering, how did you go about picking your retailers?, I heard with Curve (normal) once you select your 3 choices you cannot change them. However, if you have Curve Premium you can change your 6 choices every 90 days.
Common sense tells me just pick three that I'm most likely to make purchases at. However, I can only see one retailer that would definitely feature in the list of 3. From the other retailers, I'm likely to purchase at many of them.
*- not sure if this is 1% or 1-3%

I'm assuming this is a new thing for new customer signing up now - as I don't have this option with my Curve account0

Curve has been around since January this year, according to this article:

From what it says in that article, it seems cashback rewards was available in March. Perhaps it was introduced a month or two after launch? (and you applied soon as Curve was launched)0 -

(Because it's only available for the first 90 days since sign-up, unless you switch to Curve black within the 90 days.)0 -
Nope. Then again I signed up on 15th Feb 2018 so actually I am on the Rewards programme:

It's only for new customers, for their first 3 months.
I signed up too early and therefore am not part of the program0 -

You should be on the Curve Rewards programme though - which IMO is better than the limited time cashback deal0 -
I selected the three retailers just now. App said 'Valid for 90 days after activating the Curve card'.
When I hit 'confirm', it said 'Get 1% cashback when spending on these retailers. Valid until 21 Aug 2018'.
Although, according to the activation email I received from Curve, it was activated on 20 May 2018, which makes it slightly over 90 days. Curve must mean 3 months, not 90 days!0
