    I can assure you that done properly, in most instances it would be perfectly enforceable.

    Perhaps you could give the relevant reference to provide legal authority to back up this statement - might bring this increasingly tedious thread to a satisfactory close by giving OP a clear statement of the position.

    The company has provided off site parking with a shuttle bus to and from work, a similar setup to where I work.

    That seems a reasonable compromise to me.

    If that service is lacking and making people late then that is the companies problem and they need to address that.

    Exactly the same question has been posed before (and done to death) several times on this forum e.g. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4417283/employee-off-site-parking-rights

    The company is providing off site parking and a shuttle bus service. If that arrangement isn't working satisfactorily, let HR know and invite them to sort it out.

    End of story.

    Wow, that's a blast from the past. I think it was the first thread I got involved in after finding this forum for info for a job and lurking for a bit.

    Oh, and the answer and the counter arguments are still the same :rotfl:
