Attributable data equifax

Hi i have a bit of a problem where on my equifax credit file there is another person appearing on my file under the section called "Attributable data"
It says the following
If there is information in the Attributable Data section, it indicates that the data could belong to you but cannot be definitely identified as yours. A lender can see this data, but should obtain proof that it does belong to you before it is used in a lending decision
now i have no idea who this person is. There are many accounts that have defaulted.
What i wanted to know does this affect my score and how can i get it removed. I have sent equifax a message but they seem to take an age to reply.
Thanks in advance

You don't have a score, but it will impact how lenders view you.
Escalate a dispute to Equifax and remember to check your other files.0 -

Ive checked the other files and they are fine, just equifax for some reason. I only found out a week ago after being refused a car lease when i thought my credit was good. Have raised a dispute but no reply.
Experian is early touching "excellent" and equifax is at "very poor" :mad:0 -

I'm surprised this is allowed as companies processing personal data have a duty to ensure it is accurate.0

This may help https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?208128-Equifax-amp-the-use-of-quot-Attributable-Data-quot
A quick complaint to Equifax should do the trick, maybe mentioning the Information Commissioners Office and reminding them of their duty re: processing personal data.0
