Hoping I can get some help here. Like so many others, I've been unable to access my aol email account that I've had for many years since they introduced a 2 step sign in system.
I log in fine & then I get the page that shows how many emails I have & how many, next to the little envelope denoting email. This is as far as I can go as clicking to actually access these emails does nothing. Aol themselves have been useless as apparantly they now charge for technical help. I've tried using different browsers & clearing all cookies, but to no avail.
Anyway I signed up for a gmail account & to have them fetch the emails from my aol account so I could read them. I've noticed though that gmail doesn't appear to fetch all of the emails. Whenever I have a quick look on my iphone, I can see lots of emails that haven't been collected. Because the text is so small I'm not able to read these emails via the iphone. I just can't work out what I need to do to have all emails fetched from the aol account by gmail. I'd be so grateful if anybody here can offer advice.

The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

You want the Get all Messages option as documented here:

Thanks Neil, but it seems you need to have access to the other email account settings to be able to change things for all email to be fetched to gmail & as I can't get as far as gaining access to the aol settings I'm stuck.:(The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
