Google Adwords help please?...

Hello,

Hopefully I've chosen the correct forum to post in and thank you very much in advance for any help.

I have a local service company and I use google adwords. I only work throughout one county. I've noticed a nationwide company includes whichever town, village etc I search into google into their ad. All the other wording in their ad stays exactly the same but the location changes.

It appears that somehow their ad is automatically filling in/changing the key area word to match the search.

Can somebody please tell me if this is possible or am I just going crazy?

Thank you once again.
