Fridge on way out?

Options
Ok I admit I normally set fridge to maximum setting partly as I like a nice cold drink but also notice food lasts longer though I am careful because the things I put at back of fridge freeze which may be related.

Noticed last week the top tray was "wet" in fridge, went away for a few days and all the trays are wet and the ice at the back of the trays has melted, also the fridge whilst still cold doesn't seem to be anywhere near as cold and not as loud as it used to be, not saying it was "loud" before but if you lowered the setting the fridge would get quieter and if you raised it you got that vibrating hum like sound.

The ice box at top is still frozen though.

Is it on its way out and was part of reason me putting it too high?

Not sure if this will help but........I sometimes have a puddle in the bottom of my fridge and it is because there is a blockage in one of the drains - the drain hole is at the bottom of my fridge at the back and I simply use a straw to clear the blockage and it works again

Hope you get to sort it out

    I've been Money Tipped!
Was thinking something else as well, thanks for your suggestion I had to move the fridge a few weeks ago as it was in front of boiler cupboard, since then despite changing the screws for balance it seems a little wobbly.

Move the appliance out so that you can get behind it.
Turn it off & unplug it.
Then give the back of the appliance a good clean using a small hand brush & a vacuum cleaner.
    It may help.
The biggest cause of problems with refrigeration appliances is lack of cleaning..........

See post 2. The drain hole is blocked so the moisture cannot evaporate outside the cabinet. Unblock it.
