Software for old Samsung mobile phone

My partner has an old pay as you go Samsung mobile phone which he uses for texting. He bought the phone in 2004 or 2005. He also has some photos on the phone which he would like to download on to a computer. I looked on the Samsung web site but all the downloads to enable him to do this are for phones of a more recent date…
