PPI on mortgage in joint name

Options
Hi, over 20 years ago, I had and endowment mortgage with an ex partner. I know we had insurances etc so I'm pretty sure that I have a claim. I am no longer in contact with my ex so I have no idea if he has already claimed this. Where do I stand in claiming PPI, do I claim for half?
Thanks

You would put in a joint complaint and share any redress if the policy was in both names.

But you would need a reason for mis sale.

Do remember that if the policy was only covering one partner, they would get 100% of the refund, or a split based on cover (e.g. 75/25 50/50)

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

What makes you think that is a reason for raising a complaint?

Claimed what? You havent actually said.

Did you have PPI? you only mentioned the endowment and the mortgage.
Who did you buy the PPI through (bank, building society, broker, adviser, estate agent etc)?
What did the seller of the PPI do wrong?
