Talktalk sign up - When will Amazon voucher email arrive?

I signed up with Talktalk for the 18 mth fibre contract on 10/7. I understand that I will get an email that allows me to claim the £75 Amazon voucher, so effectively making my bill £18.89 a month.
As I have not received any such email, I want to know at what stage of the order process is the email sent? or is it after the contract has started?
As there's no point transferring my broadband to Talktalk If I don't get the voucher that effectively reduces my bill.

Where was the offer from? You'd need to read the terms of the offer that you agreed to to find out the lead time for dispatch of the voucher.

Many of these offers only provide the voucher after xxx days of signing up. I signed up for a mobile deal last year and had to wait 120 days before the Amazon voucher was provided (and even then I had to chase it several times).

I got an email when I signed up which said...

"You will receive your eGift once you have completed your order and this purchase has been validated by TalkTalk.
Details of how to receive your gift will be sent to the email address provided after 90 days from your purchase"

Have you checked your spam box?

As the OP only signed up on the 10th July, they have another 83 days to wait for the email.

You're right they will have to wait another 83 days for that email. However they should have got an email almost immediately after ordering telling them that their application had been received.
  • This deal was found under MSE's ''Top broadband and line deals for new customers'' and the only accompanying information from MSE about the deal said something along the lines of - enter your email before sign up to get Amazon voucher. Which I did.
  • So would have expected to receive a similar email to the one you got but none at all. Also, just checked my spam folder as advised.
The thing is BT has called me to offer a lower monthly payment plan which is just about what I will be paying to Talktalk, if the Amazon voucher is not received. So I might as well stay with BT if no voucher is forthcoming.

If you have already completed the switch to TT, then a minimum term contract applies, usually 18m. If you haven't completed the switch yet, which I assume is the case, then why are you complaining about the lack of notification or voucher when you are still a customer of BT? The email will certainly not come until you have actually switched, for obvious reasons, and the voucher probably 90 days after that.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

This is not a complaint, it is an enquiry as to when the email will arrive, at sign up or after contract starts? Please re-read my initial post. I do not need to know when voucher will arrive, whether 90 days or more. I am trying to work out whether my sign up for the contract has triggered the eligibility for the voucher because if it hasn't, then I won't effectively be getting the £18.89/mth deal. This enquiry is being made now that I am still within the cancellation period so as to help me decide whether to stay or cancel.
Spanishblue has actually helped shed light on the situation.

It may help to be clearer in your posts as from the title of the thread it appeared that is exactly what you wanted to know.....

So it was completely reasonable to assume that at the time of posting you weren't aware of the 90 day stipulation for the voucher to arrive.

The only people who can answer that definitively are TT, or the affiliate with whom the offer was with.
