Small Car v Small Van Rental
Hi,
I have been looking to hire a car for 7 days and been comparing prices. Noticed on one site (large hire company) that a small van is much less expensive than the smallest car (£112 v £260). Checked out all details that I can and phoned company and they say all is okay. Past experience with car rental companies however makes me suspicious. Can anyone conform that small van hire is generally cheaper than small car or is there a catch?
TIA

Van hire is generally cheaper, but make sure you don't scratch it as they sometime expect them back as new.0

Many thanks for your confirmation. I was concerned as it seems very cheap.0

Just make sure the van includes insurance. We used to hire vans and they were covered on our fleet policy so cheaper to hire.
More expensive when you use their insurance.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
