financial association

Hi, I've removed my wife from all 3 credit reference agencies as her adverse credit history was stopping me get a mortgage.
All 3 CRA's have confirmed the removal, my question is does my wife have to also write to the CRA's to get me removed from her financial associations?
Searches keep appearing on my credit history which the IVA company on her behalf are making.

thanks in advance

I haven't ever heard of removing a person from any CRA: If they have had credit then they are on one or more CRAs. But hey, there's a first time for everything.

In the case of a financial association you or your wife can have incorrect entries removed providing you can prove it. To remove an incorrect entry you write a letter of complaint to the CRA.
  • If you have a joint account then you will be financially linked - which is correct.

The same for any other joint product you hold together
