Hi I received two phone calls over the last couple of days saying my PPI claim has been approved. They have also said that if I have taken out or life insurance in the last 12 months then unde4 new government regulations the fees for the PPI will be waived .
Has anybody heard about this ? I have asked them to email me the details but not received anything . It sounds like a scam to get me to purchase a new life insurance policy .
Just thought I would put it out there to see if any has had similar expriances .

That is a known scam and completely made up.It sounds like a scam to get me to purchase a new life insurance policy .

What you could do is get as far as them giving you a quote. That will give the company name and you can then report them to the FCA for committing fraud.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
