Hi, I have started to get pop up ads on my phone and it's driving me mad, I have changed the settings to block them, I've also downloaded zemana antivirus, given it a full scan, which it says it's safe, plus I have downloaded CCleaner and that is all cleaned, but I'm still getting pop ups , please can anyone advise me as to what to do next
Thanks in advance

My doogee does the same. And it downloads games that I don't want. You can try a NoRoot firewall which worked fir me initially but now they've started sneaking through again and I can't work out what to block without starting from scratch. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I have to use an app that has started to show adverts to generate an income & the ads became really annoying.
I tried all sorts of ad blockers & adjusted all my Google settings phone permissions etc but nothing stopped them.
I downloaded & use DNS66 that works extremely well.

For info ... unless your device is rooted then pretty much all AV and cleaner apps on Android are pointless - apps run in their own sandboxes and have limited opportunity to interact with the operation or private storage of other apps.
The nuclear approach is to backup all your data and then reset your phone to factory settings.0 -
You cant get a virus on your phone, so stop with all the "virus killer" stuff , you'll just make it worse ..
The ads are being generated by an app you have installed..
It might not even be one you have installed recently, sometimes the rougue apps behave themselves for a few weeks before slinging ads at you , this way they avoid suspicion.
Go to manage apps, and uninstall everything you are not 100% sure of.
Look for apps with similar names as popular ones, messenger apps seem to be prevelent on this ..
Also, the worst culprits are things like battery boosters and wifi boosters, if you have anything like that installed then it is almost certainly the culprit0
