Credit report is wrong

Hi,
Am after some advice...my credit report is wrong from about 5 yrs ago. The company concerned have said it is wrong and will amend it...this was in June and it's still not been changed. I keep ringing up and am being made to feel like I'm being a pain but they still haven't done it!
What else can I do?

Changes can take a month or so to update depending on the reporting cycle, I wouldn't be too concerned just yet.0

Oh right! Didn't realise it took so long! Thank you. They have had since the 18th so will give them a few days!0

Hi Rhi99
Unfortunately updating your credit file can take a little bit of time. Ultimately if you find they will not change it and you are confident the information is wrong (which it sounds like given the company has agreed with you), you can make a formal complaint. If you still can't resolve it you can take your complaint on to the Information Commissioner's Officer (ICO) www.ico.org.uk.
Best wishes
Susie
