HELP - CCJ on credit report from fraud

Hi Lilium,
This is a difficult situation because county court claim forms are sent to the last known UK address, and because of the issues you are having with the fraud, you are probably right and the paperwork has gone to the address you never lived at.
Unfortunately now, you will need to apply to set it aside, which can cost up to £255. You should get legal advice before doing this about what evidence you may need and how you can, hopefully, reclaim any costs you have to pay. You should also check that this is the same debt, just in case there is more than one out there. If your set aside application is successful then the CCJ should be removed from his credit file. Best of luck,
Laura
