Hi,
My partner is self employed and we are looking for any advice from anyone who knows of any good companies out there that offer sickness policies. She is a dental therapist and we really need cover for if she broke her arm for example she would be off work for 6 weeks we would need some cover.

the product you are looking at is permanent health insurance (PHI). There are also budget income protection plans under the general insurance category but they are poor value (these are the ones you see on most internet sites).
Make sure your partner does a PHI policy and not a budget payment/income protection plan.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
