Has anyone used Luxtripper?

Just a quick one if anyone can dispense any advice. I have had Luxtripper recommended by a friend who found them online. I am looking to book a honeymoon for next September. I have never heard of them although that being said I've never used a Travel Agent of any variety before so my knowledge of TA's in general is vague at best.
They seem to have a fairly good web presence with HQ registered in London from what I can see.
They are also ATOL registered.
They seem to offer very good packages and are a good bit less than the big boys.
Anything at all would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't see any details of their ATOL registration on their website and a search of the name Luxtripper throws up a blank on the ATOL website.

Maybe they operate or are licensed under a different name but under normal circumstances a company such as this would quote their ATOL number and the logo quite clearly.
Their homepage also says -

"Who is my booking made with?
When making a booking with one of our Travel Consultants then the booking is with Luxtripper. Luxtripper uses a variety of suppliers to book all parts of your trip and these can be found on your travel documents. All our suppliers have been vetted and are trusted.
If you book online then your booking has been made with either Priceline, Agoda, or Booking.com. You can find out which company it is by looking at the email confirmation that was sent to you after your booking."

Personally I would investigate further before handing over any money. If you decide to book through them make sure that you use a credit card for payment.0 -
Thanks for that Neil49. Here's me thinking I did my homework!
So in simplest terms it seems these guys are acting as some sort of broker for all the elements of the holiday and then if anything was to go belly up it's between myself and the actual 'suppliers' as Luxtripper call them.
They mention ATOL in their FAQ's but as you say it doesn't actually state the number anywhere on their site nor do they appear on the ATOL site - I never even knew you could do that search.
I will do a bit more research on them but to be honest right now it doesn't seem like it is worth the risk.0 -
Read on the Mail online today that any flights, hotels, transport etc booked at the same time and paid together (Bookings since July 1st) are covered as a package.
With that in mind I would rather use one of the more established companies mentioning no names.1 -
if its a luxury trip https://www.headforpoints.com/virtuoso-agent-london/ seem to get decent feedback from those who have used their services.
Note-
the focus seems to be more about exra benefits rather than cut price0 -
Hi,
I booked my honeymoon with Luxtripper last year and they provided an ATOL certificate when booking or after we paid the deposit. I forget, but we got one because this was something we were also concerned about.
I must say that Luxtripper were really friendly and easy to use. They actually worked out cheaper than virgin and TUI by over £800 on a £5k holiday so would highly recommend them!1 -
Hi,
We have been so disappointed to lose a wonderful trip to Bora Bora LA due to Covid 19. Luxtripper have been brilliant to deal with, and arranged our refund (with only a short delay). Since our postponement, we have decided to rebook our trip of a lifetime with Luxtripper as they have been so great with our refund handling. Luxtripper is a very friendly company, and have been amazing working through a crisis, I wouldn't book with anyone else. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
