I need help please

I read a thread before where somebody had googled their name, it gave me an idea and I also did, I found I had won a Century FM prize of a Celebrity/Amateur golf day. I have no idea when or where this is/has been, if anyone knows anything about this could you please let me know.

I never received anything off Century, an e-mail or phone call, so know nothing about it and can't find anything anywhere either.

Your name isn't on this list by any chance, is it?
From the sound of it they don't contact you and you have to check the list and just turn up. This is going back to September though, I think.

wow tried that google thing, i dont like how much my name is on there eek! As for Century, not sure what to do there sorry

aww thats harsh they could have at least sent you an email. I wonder how many miss out because of things like this

So glad I spotted this thread, I've won ( and missed !) exactly the same thing. I remember the comp as the day itself was only a week or so after the closing date, which was obviously ages ago!

I've emailed them and expressed my annoyance. As I pointed out to them , even if I had known in time by noticing tht I'd won it doesn't remind you of time, date, venue etc, and even then if I had remembered all those things and spotted it in time, I could have turned up and it could have been another person with the same name from the same place who had won and I could have had a wasted journey!
I've had no reply as yet, but if you e mail too perhaps we might get some joy!

I originally e-mailed them asking about the competition before posting on here. Since finding out about it and reading your posts I have e-mailed them again telling them I wasn't happy and that they really should let the competition winners know that they have won. I also ended it with 'a very dissatisfied competition winner', doubt it will do much good though.

what a shame, so silly of them, I expect they still had to pay for the prize, very bad publicity for them

I have just had the shock of my life, I've had Century FM on the phone and the woman could not apologise enough, she didn't know where things had gone wrong and offered me 2 tickets to see Michael Buble.

I suggest anyone that was a winner should contact them and see what they are willing to do.
