Council Tax Mortgage Application

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me.
I am applying for a mortgage and I'm worried about how some old adverse credit issues will affect my application. Although there isn't much more than the odd old missed payment on my credit report on all 3 reports, I have a settled debt that is not on my report that I'm not sure if it defaulted and I can't find any info online about how to find out of it did or why it's not on my report.
I also had a council tax bill that went to Bailiffs, I settled it quickly but I have no idea how this will affect my mortgage application.
Can anyone advise how missed council tax affects your mortgage application and why an adverse credit would not be on my report?

If it’s not on your report then it won’t be visible to any lenders.

Council Tax liability orders / bailiff use are not visible to lenders.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
