Breakdown cover for car

Hi, can somebody tell me if i get break down cover with say action-call.co.uk and i get cover "for the vehicle" (not personal cover)

Does that mean, i can only get roadside recovery assistance if im driving that particular car? Or does it mean whoever is in my car at the time it breaks down can get roadside recovery?

Or does this differ from breakdown providers, for example the AA, RAC, GREENFLAG etc?

Vehicle Cover will protect a single vehicle regardless of who is driving. You can add up to 5 vehicles and we will even give you a discount on polices bought together.


Other providers will vary, you'll need to check each individually. The more expensive providers may include more things as standard, and some offer unlimited call-outs, where as action call is limited.


I've used FirstCall for a few years, I know they are a "vehicle specific" provider.
