Job Seeker's Allowance Questions

I want to claim JSA but have some questions from people who have applied in the last 12 months or 24 maximum to make sure its up-to-date answers.
1. Do they always check your bank statements when claiming or only if they suspect you have other income? I want to make sure I have everything ready when I go to the interview but the bank can take 7 days to send them out.
2. Do they assesses your incomings into your bank account(s) in the last 12 months or just declare your current income from any sources? for example if you get £100 a month from a relative for no reason at all (e.g not for working) do you need to tell them?
3. do they ask you to give the names of all your credit cards, bank accounts etc. or just the details of the bank being paid into?
thanks in advance for your answers.

1. They will ask for your current amount of savings/capital and may ask for proof of this at the initial work faced interview.
2. All income has to be declared, however gifts from relatives are disregarded. But they may want to see proof of this i.e. letter from your relative to rule out that it's earned income.
3. All bank/building/savings accounts need to be declared. Credit cards do not, as debt is not taken into account, unless its a pay as you go type card that you have topped up yourself which in essence is a savings account.0 -

If you have no savings or capital (e.g dont keep money in the bank for long after its put in,, you spend it) BUT your incomings into the bank account totals thousands do they ask for where it comes from if you haven't been employed or do they only care about what you have in your account or savings at the time of the claim? i assume you have to tell them about that money going in, where it comes from and for how long to make a successful claim.
if you say you have no capital or savings but they ask for bank statements and your bank shows incoming transfers but you didnt save the money (you spent it) do they still count that as capital or just income you've had recently?0 -
Why don't you just explain your situation rather than being so cryptic, you're beginning to sound like you have something to hide."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

Yes, they need to assess your total income not just income derived from pay slips.
IB JSA is for those on a very low income (less than £73pw); not for those with "thousands " going into their bank account. (Unless you can prove this comes from a disregarded source).Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -

As you declare it all it will make no difference unless it is earned or counted as income.
Are you money laundering or working illegally or are you just trying to ascertain how to commit fraud?0
