Good luck from me as well. :D

As with all these things, the scariest bit is the anticipation; not the court itself.

  • Please dont worry the whole procedure is not bad at all. When I went with my daughters boyfriend everybody was so kind (including the Judge) & sympathetic. We were asked if we had taken advice which we had.If you have not then go to the CAB today. To go BR is not to be taken lightly by the court so if you have taken advice they are happier that you know what you are doing. Our OR telephone interview is tomorrow at 2pm so we can tell you all how it went later. We had to pay cash £485 on the day & present three copies of the paperwork. So good luck & God bless. We will be thinking of you!
Please let us all know how you got on!
    Kindest Regards Mr-tonyc

Sorry I'm late, I hope it went well.

  • Well firstly let me just say that last night when I logged on to this I really needed some support and some back up, and I have to say I am completely overwhelmed with the support I have recieved. Its hard to actually understand that there are strangers that will support you, when your nearest and supposidly dearest don't.

Anyway as you all said to me, it really isn't that bad, and it is the anticipation that is the worst - don't get me wrong it was horrid, but no where near as bad as the panic attack i had in the shower this morning - I know horrid thought! Hey I;ve nearly got my sense of humor back too.

So yes I had to pay the #485 today and the judge agreed I could go ahead with this, so now I am a member of the B gang. I had a conversation with the OR on the phone whilst I was at court, I have now been assigned to someone. And will have to have more conversations on the phone, but I do feel like I can handle this now.

    Thanks everyone x x x

The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
