After some advice.

I purchased a bed that was advertised as being on sale. It was a 20% sale that ended on Sunday. The bed was priced £376 in the sale, usual price being £469.

We’ve been charged the full price of £469 on our credit card statement. In the mean time, they’ve repriced the bed as a new low £429. When my wife complained, we were told all they could do was offer a £40 voucher to reflect the difference in the new price and what we should have paid. I don’t want a voucher, I wanted to pay £376 and I don’t care that it is now £429.

This doesn’t feel right, do I have any rights to complain further?

Thanks for reading

Can you find any evidence online showing it was the lower price?

Cached version of their web page perhaps?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Of course you do. I wouldn't accept a voucher. If they have admitted that they charged the wrong price, they should refund the money to your credit card.

If they won't do that, speak to your credit card provider.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

did the total not show before you entered your PIN or clicked 'buy' etc - don't understand how you accepted the wrong cost in the first place? If you can prove somehow that it was £376 then I'd expect them to honour the current price as a refund, rather than voucher.
Otherwise, can you cancel and re-purchase it at £429. Doesn't sound like you'll get it for £376 though!
