gets boring this does.
Right, all I did was re-install XP as some of the files were obviously corrupt.
anyway, all working fairly well at the mo BUT I have lost IE icon.
How do I get it up??? (million dollar Q, that:):))
I tried re installing IE7 but I cannot get the icon to show anywhere so that I can just click on it and connect to the net.
I can only connect thru IE if I type something into the address bar.
Someone?
Help, please?

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Try this, My Computer, Program Files, scroll through folders to Internet explorer the icon should be in there, copy and paste to desktop.0

Right click any area of desktop gives Display Properties.
Left click Desktop tab, then click Customise Desktop, tick box for IE.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
