Marked as missed payment due to illness

Hi All,
I have worked very hard over the last couple of years to get myself and my credit file into a good state only to suffer a stroke a few months ago.
The stroke meant that I had to arrange for a payment break from my loan provider which they did with little fuss.
Only issue I have is that they have marked my credit file with missed payments even though this period out was agreed, obviously I couldn’t work for a while and provided them with sick certificates from hospital and doctor.
My question is that as this seems unfair to me to marked as missed payment, is this right?

It's correct that it's marked as missed payments.
Their agreement was to allowing you to miss those payments without chasing you.0 -
You could add a notice of correction with the credit reference agencies against that account explaining the situation.
However I doubt it will make much difference and will also likely prevent any online instant approvals as the notice has to be read by a person rather than the computer.
Essentially time is the healer in this situation and as long as you don!!!8217;t have any further missed payments (set up a DD if you can) then after a year or so it won!!!8217;t matter.0
