Members of your family but not a Household account?
Have you ever thought of just spending them? If you haven't used them in three years, when are you planning to utilise them?0 -
You can transfer up to 27,000 Avios to another Club Member each calendar year. Transferring Avios will reset the 36-month period for both the person sending and the person receiving the Avios.
Transfer fees in £s;
1,000 to 6,000 21.00 + 4.20 = 25.20
7,000 to 12,000 54.00 + 10.80 = 64.80
13,000 to 18,000 83.00 + 16.60 = 99.60
19,000 to 24,000 117.00 + 23.40 = 140.40
25,000 to 27,000 146.00 + 29.20 = 175.20
But in other news, click here and peruse.

Each account will have it's own expiry date. Some of the following are transfers which take 24 hours, others take a little longer.
Buy BAEC Avios with £2.50 Tesco Clubcard points.
Transfer American Express Rewards points.
Use the BAEC 365 portal and make an online purchase at any of the stores (this may not be as quick as the transfers).
Rewards for Thoughts surveys.
Credit a flight/hotel stay/car rental.
BA wine club.
Buy foreign currency through BA's partner Amex Currency Exchange.
Shell Drivers Club
Any one of those will keep the account alive for another 3 years.
You may want to read HeadForPoints or Flyer Talk (or both) on ways to get the most from your miles and the best options on a combined account.
Edit - just clicked on Everywhere's link - beaten to it, but with two recommends you really should take a moment to read it.0 -

Buy a reward flight with very low taxes for some date in the future. Then cancel the flight to get back your Avios. You will lose the small amount you have paid but that is all. Flights to the UK booked as singles are generally cheapest. I recall someone on flyer talk paying around £4, I think from Luxembourg.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
