Hi
My car insurance expires at the end of July. I have used this sites guides for the last 2 years. Im never sure what add ons to take with the policy. Im fortunate that I have a low yearly mileage (3500 a year) and only need social domestic and pleasure cover. I only ever take fully comp insurance. My car is valued under £1000. Ive a full 12 years no claims discount with no claims in that period. What are the core add ons I should get? Many thanks in advance.

I take the motor legal cover, mainly for if I'm ever involved in an accident I can get assistance with claiming back uninsured losses and if i'm injured I won't lose 25% of my compensation.
I also pay extra for the guaranteed hire car as, without it, I'd only be entitled to a courtesy car if mines being repaired and not if it was a total loss. If it was a total loss I'd still need a car between when it was damaged and when my payment came in.
It's personal preference though.0 -
Agreed on the above 2 add ins. I always protect my no-claim discount as well. Well done if you've never had a claim in 12 years!Indecision is the key to flexibility0
