Hi,
I have laminate floors and tiled floors. Between these 2 are not the exact same height but similar.
What the difference between those floor accessories and which is suitable for what?

You need something like a zigzag cover strip although the ones i have seen are for carpet/hard floor .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yeah something like that. One of them has to be 2.4 or 2.5m in length.
Its confusing what is the difference between these types?0 -
The different types refer to different situations
cover strip just goes on top of both sides which should be level, and screwed in the middle
Tbars are essentially the same but there is a Tbar which is installed in between both sides to which the cover strips clicks into leaving no visible screws.
Transitions (reducers) allow different flooring levels0 -

Ok what are thresholds?
So the ebay link above is a reducer because in that pic theres 2 floors at different height levels?0 -

A threshold is the bit under the door, normally where 2 parts of a floor meet. Or where outside meets inside, you must have heard of carrying your bride over the threshold? All the rest are thresholds.....cover strips tbars reducers all thresholds
I know you need 2.5m so that is obviously not under door!! but the name is the same.
yes it is a reducer or a transition, in the threshold world it means the same thing.0 -
