Ebay Help Again Please As I`m Scared

I am here again & need help, sorry about this guys. I sold an item on ebay a while ago, & the buyer contacted me to say that it had broken in transit, & asked if I would have it back if they met me near to my home. So I agreed, anyway weeks went by & nothing , then I get an email to say that they wanted me to send a cheque for the full amount plus postage back to them, on receipt of this cheque they would post back, anyway I said no as this was not what was agreed, but I wouldnt refund for the return postage as this wasn`t agreed,or could they send me photos of the damage via email, so then I hear nothing for ages, got nothing on ebay, as I have been away for a while & while I was away they send me an email to say that they will be at my house on saturday morning for a full refund(didn`t get the email until my return) now I haven`t responsed to the email as it must have been 3 months since this started if not longer, however my corncern is & I am a worrier by nature, is that if I start relisting on ebay are they gonna contact me for a refund?? Should I refund at all now, will they contact possible buyers or am I just worrying for no reason???

Thanks for reading this & thank you for all your help

Tell them to get stuffed. Make sure you have someone with you on Saturday just in case they turn up.

Three months is far too long and from what you said you did all you could to help.
  • If they paid by paypal they had 45 days to raise a dispute, its double that and they have lost out. If they turn up at your door step don't let them in if they cause trouble call the police and say you threatened in your own home.

Tick the allow buyers to remain anonymous button when you list your items if that's worrying you.

Forward emails/messages about them coming round to Ebay. Keep copies of all their messages. Send them one final message with your details regarding refunding, that if they return it you will refund them. Be polite and don't antagonise them. Tell them that for security reasons regarding payment protection you cannot accept a return in person.

I'd hazard a guess that they're trying to intimidate you into just refunding them whilst they keep the item.

They're unlikely to contact potential future buyers, it very rarely happens and is a lot of trouble for them to go to.

Thanks for that, I was thinking about closing down my ebay account & then opening a new one, but I don`t know if I want to do that . I think I will just carry on a normal.
    Thanks for all your advice
