Octopus energy any good?
Thinking of switching to octopus energy from EDF. I have not heard of this company and am wondering whether it is any good. The only issue is online account and meter readings. Can the reading be submitted by phone? No problem if I am around but if I am not husband does not use computer? Thanks

Absolutely terrible if you want to leave them. even if you pay per Direct debit they will automatically object to your switch, but will not inform you. Then, if you complain, they will say they rectify this. However in our case they objected again, and again did not inform us. By the time we found out we had to pay another monthly bill.
Then the final bill came: hundreds of pounds extra.
Finally, they kept seeing us invoices, even 'though we had finally managed to switched providers.
They really went out of their way to make switching cumbersome.0
