Installing a new bathroom and central heating

We have someone coming out to quote for installing central heating next week.
I've never lived in a house with central heating so have no idea what to ask or whether what they are suggesting would be the best approach, any advice?
Also at the moment the only hot water in the house comes from an immersion heater in the airing cupboard in the bathroom, this has a water tank above it and takes up loads of space as well as not being very practical as we frequently run out of hot water. I'm assuming we would get rid of this as part of the central heating installation?
We want a bathroom refit doing too, would it make sense to have all this done at once?
Thanks in advance

How big is your house? How many bathrooms? it sounds like you would be better off with a combination boiler (which provides instantaneous and continuous hot water as well as provide CH to the rads). These do away with the need for an immersion tank of water so will give you the airing cupboard as extra space which could be incorporated into a bathroom (assuming it is adjacent to the bathroom).
The CH and bathroom don't have to be done together, but the CH would need to be done first. You may get a better overall price from a company that can do both projects rather than two separate projects as there is some crossover between the projectsEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
