I tend to use some site like scan or aria to see what I might want.

    I then read reviews.

I then buy from amazon. Amazon's site is a mess and it's easier to do initial researsh using sites where the catagories are not flooded by crap. Yes there are ridiculous prices by third parties on there. Click the prime button wheather you have it or not to weed most out.

And don't buy cheap tat and expect it to be good. Buy something decent and get it at a resonable price. I always find something on amazon at a good price, but if you just order cheap tat that has to be returned then you are just going to be banned eventually.

I'm sure another first time poster will pop up shortly with a link to site that appears to be just what the OP is looking for.

Oh wait, they already have ;)

    Well that was helpful!

Buying things cheaply and buying things made to a budget are two different things.

Utter rubbish. A 1TB Western Digital Hard Drive is a 1TB Western Digital Hard drive whether you're paying £50 for it or £100 for it.

There are a few third parties (on the mentiond by me amazon and probably elsewhere) that will sell you refurbs and not new ,they don't mention that, but the prices are unbeliveable.

However clicking prime gerts rid as dodgy stuff is usually shipped direct. Note usually and only buy from reputable sellers.

pcpricepicker will compare the price for you.

However, i usually check secondhand first from avforum classified/ facebook market place before purchasing brand new.
