Refund on puppy deposit

I know it is hard when you see a puppy to walk away if things don't seem right, specially if you go with kids.
It is ALWAYS advisable to see the mum when you are with the pups. You will ever hardly see the dad as the dad is probably just a male dog that they have used for breeding.
If you go to the house, and you don't see the papers, then don't pay the deposit. Say you will pay the deposit when you see the papers.
Unfortunately there are far too many puppy farms out there that use the dogs purely for breeding purpose and as long as there are people out there who would pay for them, then this is just going to go on.
I hope you get it sorted as it seems to me it was a puppy farm you have bought from. Even if you win your case, you might not see your money as the breeder might say they can't pay you and offer to pay some thing silly everymonth!
As least hopefully you have learnt a lesson and next time you know what to look for.
As stated before, KC registered is just a gimmick to me. It doesn't mean anything as people can KC register . Unless it is a show dog and used for shows and competitions, it is just a pure gimmick that some breeders put on to say their dog is better than others!
We did breed from our miniature labradoodle once last year and we kept one of the pups and sold the others. However when we were selling them, we made sure people that came to visit or buy, knew what they were doing, they had the space for them and the pups would have a good life. We didn't let them see the pups until we were happy with the people.
I am glad to say we see all the pups on social media and have puppy parties for them every year and they all get together.
