Mac network printer prob...

help! Ive had my lovely new macbook for a week and was amazed at the ease of which I got it on the home network. I can access OH's PC and all the files on it without a problem.

Only thing is I cant blumin print! :mad: I cant find the printer at all, printer is with OH's PC so in theory I should be able to use it.

Its getting a pain now because I cant print my illustrator files for Uni

Anyone have any ideas??

I've the same issue with mine. Never managed to get network printing sorted (I blame OH's inferior PC products )

If I need to print I do it with a USB cable.

I suppose I could use the network cable, but it would just be so much easier

i am yes, and I have a great connection, as I said I can easily access the data on that machine, just not the printer

Make sure the share name/ printer name in windows is less than 12 characters.

Ill get OH to take a look, ours is a HP Printer so Ill give him the technical one!!
