The Book Festival village will once again create a charming tented village in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End, offering something for all ages and interests. This wonderful celebration of the written word is the largest of its kind in the world and this year attracts bestselling authors including Philip Pullman, Ngugi wa Thiong'o and Maggie O’Farrell.
Entry to the Book Festival village is free. Visitors can soak up the atmosphere, browse the bookshops, enjoy refreshments from the cafes and bars and choose from a programme of more than 900 events.
