Because the Ts & Cs of the card are quite explicit about this, as per https://www.santander.co.uk/uk/credit-cards/zero-credit-card:

Else sounds to me like a rare mistake in generating the bill.

Not if the intent is to avoid interest. Also positive balances can arise through refunds.

Even paid to go to the toilet with my credit card, 10sek £0.85.
At least it was clean unlike a public toilet I went to which was a disgrace.over 73 but not over the hill.0
